Free! is a sport-themed anime I watched for the first time back in 2016. I’m anything but an active person, I’m literally a potato-couch, but sport competition itself isn’t the key concept in this anime. I really appreciated its beautifully designed characters, the appropriate colors choice, the lighthearted atmosphere, and, above all, the deep sense of friendship behind the main characters!
I watched the story again in 2020 and couldn’t do anything but confirming my previous impressions!
So, how about trying to include a character from this cute story into my cosplans? I chose Rei Ryugazaki, the perfectionist hyper-rational swimmer who slowly learns the true value of the word “team”, and has to make difficult choices due to his particular role in the Iwatobi Team.
